Intelligence Corps attached to SIB. 105 Pro Coy War Diary WO 169/6650. 12/4/1942, 07.30 hrs, Bug Bug, Libya. The Company Cook reported to OC & RSM that he had found the body of an officer in the cookhouse12/4/42 07.30. The OC and RSM proceeded immediately to the cookhouse and found the body of Capt Millner (G SIB) lying face downwards on the floor of the cookhouse. Capt Millner had visited the Coy HQ mess the night before and had seemingly tripped over the wall of the cookhouse, MO examined the body. Funeral at Bug Bug Cemetery. Court of inquiry presided over by Maj Buxton (G SIB). Accidental Death. 12/4/1942 Casualty List (Officers) 804, Western Desert, died.Douglas Charles Millner.
