Corp. (acting Sergt.) W. Rowe, of the Military Mounted Police (D.C.M.) was, up to his enlistment, nearly three years ago a police constable at Castleford. Hi is an old Army man, having served seven years with the 1st Royal Dragoons and five years on reserve, his time expiring 18 years ago. He is now acting squadron sergeant major.
