No. 18008, L/Cpl Albert Baines, MFP states At Manchester about 10.00 hours on the 10/10/1919, I proceeded with No. 18195) L/Cpl Chadwick of the MFP to 5 Oak Place, Boundary St, Hulme, Manchester, where we saw the accused No. 13046 Sgt. W Bond, Manchester Regiment, whom I now recognise. The accused admitted being an absentee and we escorted him to the Cavendish Police Station, Manchester and handed him over to the Civil Police.
