Served Havre 29/6/16, St Omer 3/11/16, No.2 Traffic Control Coy 2/4/17. 11/10/16 he was charged: When on active service, disobedience to Garrison Routine Orders (Havre) ie. posting a letter in a French Post Office, reprimanded. There is a letter in his Army Record to the Chief Constable, Liverpool City Police from MP Record Office dated 30/8/16 explaining why he had been reduced from A/Sgt to L/Cpl being surplus to establishment.
