He re enlisted in the MMP 8/9/15, age 36 years, occupation Butler, home address 62 Lowndes Square, Knightsbridge and later Veranda Cottage, Berg Apton, Norwich. Served home 8/9/15 to 23/9/15, BEF 24/9/15 to 2/8/19, Home 3/8/19 to 31/8/19 class Z reserve 1/9/19. 25/9/15 25 Division, 8/4/17 19 Division. 25/5/19 He was tried by a FGCM, charge, when on active service without reasonable excuse allowing to escape a prisoner committed to his charge in that he at Havre on 20 May 1919 when in charge of Lieut Cole, Royal Engineers, permitted the escape of the said person. Findings:- Guilty, Sentence 7 days Field Punishment No. 2 and to forfeit all ordinary pay for a period of 21 days. Ernest Cole.
