Citation: Citation: As DAPM of the 48th Division he showed the greatest initiative in organizing the movement of traffic when it was vitally important to prevent blockage of the roads.He showed exceptional powers of command under fire and was always to be found on stretches of the road where shelling or bombing was heaviest thereby giving the traffic control personnel an admirable example of coolness and devotion to duty.Recommended for OBE awarded MC.Recommended by Commander 48 Division.
