Major SIMMONS has been APM Provost at HQ L of C since January 1944, and, as such, has been responsible for the administration of all provost and VP Companies on the L of C. Major SIMMONS was responsible for supervising the formation of Belgian Provost Companies and has throughout maintained particularly good liaison not only with these companies, but also with the civilian authorities. His unsparing efforts and devotion to duty have contributed in no small way to the efficiency of the Provost Services on the L of C and for the acknowledged happy relationships which have always existed between civilian authorities and CMP.Lt.Col DPM HQ L of C.
