Vienna, Monday - Lieut. Eric Slater, York and Lancaster Regiment, whose home was at Wakefield, was killed in a motor accident on the Klagenfurt Saint Veit road in Austria. It was officially announced here today - Reuter
A lorry was in a collision withy a staff car in which Lieutenant Slater was travelling. He was acting Provost Marshal for Klagenfurt.
