| Citation: | Citation: 9904 Pte E t Amos, 1 East Kent Regiment (LG 15 Sept 1915).For conspicuous gallantry on the 11th August, 1915, at Hooge. After his Officer had been wounded, he, on his own initiative, assumed the command of a bombing party, which, inspired by his courage and example, attacked the enemy who had reached our left flank, and drove them off, inflicting heavy loss on them. |
