On the evening of 5/10/40 4850594 QMS White, MPSC and No. 390139 Pte East, CMP regardless of personal safety succeeded in re-capturing a prisoner who had attempted to escape from the detention barracks by swimming out to sea. The GOC directs that these acts of gallantry be entered upon the docs of the above WO and man. |
