His brother 6418 Pte Alexander Thomson, 1/7 Gordon Highlanders is buried in Y Ravine Cemetery, Beaumont Hamel, France. 51 Highland Division battle of the Ancre. In loving memory of out Dad James Thomson died 16/3/1943, age 37 and our mum Jane A Nicol, Died 28/9/1979, age 76.
