He was born in Brighton and resided in Cheshire. Killed with L/Cpl's McBride and Cook when their Jeep was hit by shellfire. See Pegasus Patrol page 48. He is not listed in Croziers Roll of Honour. Inscription on gravestone: At the going down of the sun and in the morning we shall remember them.
