Inscription on gravestone: Peace perfect peace. His original gravestone had the cap badge of the Military Police Corps and stated he was in the Military Police Corps, this headstone was replaced by CWGC in 2022. He has two MPSC Numbers No. 1386 and No. W/1859 this occurred when he transferred to MPSC 2/6/1907 as a Cpl, 29/4/1910 promoted Sgt, 16/3/1915 promoted S/Sgt, 20/2/1916 he was time expired and agreed to re enlist in MPSC and was given a new No. W/1859. 6/2/1917 he was awarded the Long Service & Good Conduct Medal + £5 gratuity.Frederick James Andrews.
