| Notes: | CMP (I). 19 Indian Div Pro Unit War Diary WO 172/7006. Traffic Accident - GOR/45570 L/Nk Tikahdan of this unit knocked down by a vehicle driven by an officer no. 8685 Capt. R Gould, 7 ICP, 5 Ind Div whilst he was performing traffic control duties on the Bailey Bridge at KABAUNG Chaung on the 9th May 1943. This officer was not in the possession of a driving licence and stated he was driving purely as a means of getting forward to his unit. Copy of report and statements forwarded to CRIASC, 5 Div for necessary action. Injuries to L/Nk Tikahadan lacerated wound of right side of the neck (upper part) and scalp found (severe). |
