Hessle Wedding. The wedding took place at All Saints's Church, Hessle, of Mr William Richard Francis Scholes, elder son of Mr and the late Mrs R F Scholes of 5 Downs park Road, Totton, Southampton and Miss Marjorie Mary Harrison, only daughter of Mr and Mrs Lloyd Harrison, of "Avonlea" Boothferry Road, Hessle.
The bride was given away by her father, wore a gown of ivory corded silk moire with a silver thread, and her silk veil was held in place by a coronet of orange blossom. Her bridesmaid was Miss Barbara Wilkinson and Mrs K Jordan was best man, with Mr P Stirk and Mr J P Tomlinson groomsmen.
The ceremony was conducted by the Ref H W Beck, of Hessle and the reception followed at Jackson's Restaurant. The honeymoon is being spent in London and the South of England.
