Citation: Military Medal Citation:North AfricaOn the night of 20/21 March 1943 Corporal Bradbury was in charge of policing and lighting for the route for ammunition convoys to the forward gun positions.At LOBSTER CROSSING where Corporal Bradbury was on duty the enemy directed heavy and accurate fire which on several occasions extinguished the track lights. With complete disregard for his own safety Corporal Bradbury continued to replace the lamps for over an hour during which time the area was continually under shellfire. Not only did this action ensure the smooth running of the convoy but by his cool courage Corporal Bradbury was an inspiring example both to the CMP under his command and the drivers in the convoy.Awarded an immediate MM recommended by Major A Ferguson APM 51 Div.
