(he was accompanied by C/Sgt T Ridgewell, MFP and gave the above evidence in the case of No. S/6823 Pte. Jas. Ledingham "F" Company, 9th (S) Bn Gordon Highlanders (Pioneers) who had escaped from confinement and gone AWOL.)
