No. P/1304, L/Cpl, Stevenson J,, MFP States: On the night of 1/1/1916 I was on duty in Sackville Street about 7.15 pm., I saw accused in charge of a picquet - He was drunk. I said "Go to Ship Street, Cpl", on my way there I saw Sgt. Loghlen visiting Sgt, I reported my action to him: I then handed the piquet over to the Sgt, and took accused to Ship Street, and handed him over to the NCO in charge of Ship Street Guard Room who detained him. Question by Accused. Did you hand my piquet over to Sgt. Loghlen or did I march them to Ship Street myself. Answer. Yes, I handed the piquet over to Sgt. Loghlen at the Castle Gates.
